Profile

I'm a young AI research scientist at the Technologies of Vision Lab (TeV – https://tev.fbk.eu/) at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK). My journey in computer vision has been shaped by a deep curiosity for understanding both 2D and 3D scenes, leveraging technologies such as RGB-D and multi-camera systems.

In recent years, I’ve focused on applying computer vision to support industrial use cases, particularly in quality control, security checks, and agritech. These projects have allowed me to translate research into practical tools and solutions with real-world impact. I’ve also explored complementary research directions, such as the use of Vision-Language Models (VLMs) in robotics.

As part of the Digital Industry Center at FBK, I’m passionate about bridging the gap between academic research and technology transfer, contributing to the digital transformation of various sectors. In addition to my research work, I’ve been selected as one of FBK’s Science Ambassadors, a program that promotes science communication and the dissemination of research outcomes to society through training and outreach activities.

In the past, I’ve worked with multispectral satellite imagery, which expanded my interest in the diverse applications of computer vision. I’m always eager to learn, experiment, and collaborate to push the boundaries of what's possible.
